TEXARKANA — The Bowie County emergency operations center announced Thursday 122 new coronavirus cases since Oct. 12.
Since the pandemic began, there have been 1,567 positive coronavirus cases, of which there have been 1,146 recoveries and 75 deaths, according to the . According to these figures, there are 346 active cases in a county with a population of 92,565.

Nearby Cass County has 434 cases since the pandemic began with 377 recoveries and 20 deaths. According to the data available, that means there are 37 active cases.
Through the end of the year, there will be free testing every Monday through Saturday from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. at the Texarkana- Bowie County Family Health Center at 902 West 12th Street, Texarkana, TX 75501.
