Four States Invitational Marching Contest coming to Tiger Stadium Oct. 24

TEXARKANA — The Four States Invitational Marching Contest is coming to Tiger Stadium at Grim Park on Saturday, Oct. 24.

Because of COVID-19 restrictions, only a limited number of fans will be admitted. The event will be live-streamed online at

Judges for the Four States Invitational Marching Contest are Benny Davis, Retired Band Director for Desoto High School, Waxahachie High School and Rockwall Heath High School all in TX; Jim Lloyd, Instructor of Music & Athletic Band Director at Ouachita Baptist University in Arkadelphia, AR; Mark Minton, Band Director of Parkway High School in Bossier City, LA.

Mike Britt, Director of Percussion for Southern Arkansas University, will be the percussion judge, and Alexandra Schoeffel, former member of Cadets Drum & Bugle Corps in Allentown, PA, will be the color guards judge.
