The Hawks (7-3) finished second in District 8-4A Division II, while Bullard (6-4) was third in 7-4A. The game’s broadcast can also be found on the Freed AM Sports app.
Arkansas High (5-0) will be heavily favored in its playoff opener Friday night at Razorback Stadium against Alma (2-7). Five of the Hogs’ games were canceled this season because of COVID.
Liberty-Eylau (6-4) rebounded from a disastrous 2019 season to place third in 8-4A. The Leopards play 7-4A runnerup Van in a rematch of a regular season game. Tied 14-14 at halftime, Van (6-4) pulled away in the final two quarters for a 35-14 win. This bi-district game will be played Friday night at 7:30 p.m. in Marshall.
Rabbits face Mineola Thursday
Class 3A Division I playoff action kicks off Thursday night at Longview Spring Hill. Atlanta (3-7) will be the underdogs facing Mineola (9-1).
Daingerfield (8-2) challenges Grand Saline (3-6) in 3A competition. District runnerup Hooks (5-4) plays Troup (5-4). Paul Pewitt faces Harmony (7-3).
District 9-2A Division II champion James Bowie (6-4) faces Hubbard (5-3). Maud (3-5) has a tough first round encounter with Bremond (7-3).
