56 new COVID-19 cases in Bowie County

TEXARKANA — The Bowie County emergency operations center reported Wednesday 56 new cases of COVID-19 in the past 24 hours.

According to the Texas state department of health services there are 557 active cases in the county with a population of 92,565.

Since the pandemic began there have been 2,343 cases with 1,699 recoveries and 87 deaths. Here is a breakdown of every coronavirus case since March.

In nearby Cass County there have been 20 new cases and 77 active cases. Since March, there have been 655 cases with 546 recoveries and 32 deaths.
