AUSTIN, Texas (AP) — Texas coach Tom Herman is shrugging off questions about his future with the program. Herman’s job status is an open question now that Texas is facing yet another season without a Big 12 championship. The Longhorns were ranked as high as No. 8 this season. Last week’s loss to Iowa State puts Herman at 30-18 in four seasons. He has three years left on a contract worth more than $6 million annually. Texas plays at Kansas State this weekend.
