
TEXARKANA — The Bowie County emergency operations center reported Friday. two new deaths from COVID-19, bringing the total to 106 since March when the pandemic began.
Since March, there have been 2,579 positive cases with 2,092 recoveries.
The state department of health’s labs are backlogged, and the number of active cases is not known. Furthermore, there may be more total cases than the 2,579 figure.
