Bowie County Sheriff’s Office arrests suspect in murder of Texarkana man

TEXARKANA — The Bowie County Sheriff’s Office has arrested a suspected wanted in the murder of Chase Porier of Texarkana.

According to the sheriff’s office, law enforcement was able to make the arrest of Kristopher Allen Fate “Flip” Wilson with the help of the Cass County Sheriff’s Office. Wilson has been charged with capital murder and was booked into the Cass County Jail.

Investigators interviewed Wilson to identify the second suspect involved in the murder of Porier on the night of Dec. 27 in the 100 block of Forest Circle in Texarkana. The efforts enabled the Bowie County Sheriff’s Office to serve a capital murder warrant on 18-year-old Brandon Lasuan Parkman. In the early morning hours of Dec. 30, according to the sheriff’s office, Parkman surrendered himself to the Atlanta Police Department, and he was subsequently booked into the Cass County Jail for the capital murder offense.

According to the sheriff’s office, Parkman has been transferred to the Bowie County Jail. Bond has not been set.
