DALLAS (AP) — Quentin Grimes scored seven points in Houston’s 10-0 run to start the second half and the Cougars won 74-60 at SMU. Houston rebounded from its first loss of the season by handing the Mustangs their first loss of the season. Marcus Sasser had 17 points for 8-1 Houston while Justin Gorham had 11 points and 19 rebounds. Kendric Davis led 6-1 SMU with 23 points, while Feron Hunt had 12 points and 12 rebounds. Grimes was scoreless until his 3-pointer to start the second half that put Houston ahead to stay.
