TEXARKANA — The 2021-22 pre-K and kindergarten enrollment period for Texarkana Independent School District (TISD) will be open April 1-30.
The applications will go live at www.txkisd.net. Concurrently, application packets can be picked up from any TISD elementary campus or the TISD central office at 42-41 Summerhill Road.
There will be an application packet drive-thru pickup and drop off day Monday, April 12 from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. The location will be at the central office.
Packets need to be returned by Friday, April 30. All packets received by this date will receive a free Tiger t-shirt for their student.
Students for pre-K must be four years old by Sept. 1. Kindergarten students must be five years old by Sept. 1. All students must live within the TISD attendance zone. Transfer students and three-year-olds will be accepted on a space available basis.
Parents and guardians are asked to bring the student’s up-to-date immunization record, birth certificate, Social Security card, proof of residency, and proof of income (Pre-K applications only).
