Arkansas High's Braylon Bishop had three hits Friday, and allowed only one hit in five innings on the mound against the Rams.

SHERIDAN, Ark. – Arkansas High’s struggles on the 5A South baseball diamonds continued Tuesday night as the Razorbacks were beaten by Sheridan, 8-4.

Evan Ward went the distance on the mound for the Yellowjackets, now 10-3 on the year and 2-1 in 5A South play.

“Six errors were costly!; hard to beat a team like Sheridan giving up six miscues,” said Arkansas High coach Layne Berry.

Williams, Thompson top Sheridan hitters

Fletcher Williams and Fischer Thompson led the winners at the plate with two hits each. Senior Braylon Bishop had two hits for Arkansas High. Jackson Harris, losing pitcher Ty Waid and Danny McWilliams had run-scoring hits for the Razorbacks. Scott Trumble pitched in relief for the Hogs.
