ARLINGTON, Texas (AP) — J.D. Martinez homered twice and the Boston Red Sox beat the Texas Rangers 6-1. Xander Bogaerts and Rafael Devers also went deep off Texas starter Kohei Arihara. Martinez hit a three-run homer after the first two batters of the game walked, and Bogaerts followed with a homer to quickly make it 4-0. Martinez hit his MLB-best ninth homer and got his league-best 25th RBI when he went deep again in the third. Red Sox starter Nathan Eovaldi improved to 4-2. The right-hander allowed one run on four singles over six innings.
