The Arkansas State Police says they are investigating a suspected homicide of a 36-year-old Washington County woman.
Police say that the body of Amber Dunigan was discovered on the night of May 28 inside a parked vehicle along State Highway 16, which is near her home in the Wedington Woods community west of Fayetteville.
Special agents of the state police’s criminal investigation division were called to the crime scene just before 10:00 p.m. on the night of May 28.
Dunigan’s body has been transported to the state crime laboratory where a cause of death as well as an approximate time of death will be determined.
