TEXARKANA — The Texas Department of Transportation (TXDOT) says they are rescheduling the closure of State Highway 98 at Anderson Creek between FM 1840 and U.S.-67 southwest of New Boston.
The transportation department says they will conduct their work periodically on July 20 and July 21 from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. each day, or until the work is completed.
TXDOT will be unloading preconstructed concrete beams for the bridge work being conducted at the site. Traffic will be stopped periodically during the day as crews unload the beams.
The closures are expected to take 15 to 30 minutes at a time and is expected to be conducted periodically until the work is completed.
Drivers who normally use SH-98 should plan for such delays during the day on July 19, and alternate travel routes should be used if possible. The work schedule and closures can change due to unforeseen problems, including inclement weather.
