Head coach Amy Collvins said, “the girls have come a long way in getting better since Monday. The defensive things we have worked on and talked about, they are applying or trying to apply. The growth we showed the last three days at the Tyler tournament is exciting. Every team we played against we competed with and played hard.

The girls adjusted to the tempo of the faster game. This is exactly what we needed. I know that sounds weird coming away with so many losses but the girls fought, adjusted and grew together. I’m excited to move forward and see just how far we can push ourselves to get even better. Love this team and their fight“.

The Lady Hawks will be back in action Tuesday at PG vs Queen City at 5:30. You can watch live on Fox Sports Radio 1400 Texarkana on Facebook.
