TEXARKANA — The Texarkana Texas Police Department (TTPD) added a new officer to the force on Monday.
According to the police department’s Facebook page, Brady Cooper was sworn in Monday morning by Judge Sherry Jackson Hawkins.
Cooper spent the past three and a half years with the Bowie County Sheriff’s Office as a patrol deputy, and is currently working on his bachelor’s degree after earning an associate degree in criminal justice from Texarkana College.
The Pleasant Grove High School alumnus, class of 2014, is married to Ashley Cooper, who is currently an officer with the Nash Police Department.
