The experience in the Fouke Panthers’ offensive backfield is going to be the key to the team rebounding from a 1-6 record in 2020.
Kye Monroe earned all-conference honors under center for Fouke. Although he had a 2-2 touchdown to interception ratio, Monroe produced two rushing touchdowns. Monroe’s ability to run and pass, combined with his experience in the system, should give Fouke an edge at quarterback.
Jayden Pittman is a senior running back that plays both ways as an inside linebacker. If Pittman is unable to get it done on the ground, he can still impact the game on the defensive side, where last season he provided 44 combined tackles.
Dalton McFerrin gives the Panthers leadership at center on the offensive line and also juice off the edge as a defensive end.
