TEXARKANA — The Texas Department of Transportation (TXDOT) says they will close portions of Interstate 30 on Sunday, Oct. 10 as they assist the Texas Department of Public Safety in conducting a crash investigation from earlier this year.
The closures will occur in the westbound inside and outside lanes of I-30 from east of Richmond Road to west of University Avenue in Texarkana. The work will take place from 5:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
TXDOT says that traffic can exit the interstate and travel westbound on Frontage Road and reenter westbound on I-30 at the ramp west of University Avenue. U.S.-59/I-369 can be accessed by using the turnaround bridge at University Avenue. Duration of work could change due to inclement weather or other unforeseen problems.
