The Texas High Tigers extended their district win streak to 14 as they shutout the Pine Tree Pirates 38-0 Friday night at Pirate Stadium.
By halftime, the Tigers led 17-0 and held the Pirates to 12 yards of total offense. By the end of the game, Texas High’s defense stifled Pine Tree with just 79 yards of total offense.
Brayson McHenry carried for 140 yards and a touchdown. Brayson Stewart completed seven passes on 12 attempts for 71 yards, and also rushed 19 times for 94 yards and three touchdowns.
Texas High improves to 6-0 on the season with a 4-0 record in district play. The Pirates fall to 4-3 and are 2-2 in district play.
The Tigers go home to Tiger Stadium at Grim Park to host Jacksonville next Friday night.
