Six Texas A&M University-Texarkana players scored in double figures Sunday afternoon and the Eagles routed North American University, 115-64.
The Eagles (4-1) exploded for 66 points in the second half, and TAMU-T coach Ryan Wall went to his bench early.
Frances Doe came off the bench to score 15 points, but fouled out. Justin Goodson and Demetrius Fitzpatric also came off the pine to add 12 and 10 points, respectively. Kelton Edward led the winners with 22 points. Connor Ouellette added 18, while Kobe Powell scored 15.
North American no match for Eagles
TAMU-T shot 53 percent from the field and took 27 more shots than NAU (3-10). The Eagles dominated the glass, 37-24, and forced 32 turnovers, while only committing 10.
McKinley Harris led the visitors with 14 points, and Jakob Wheatfall scored 13. Kiante Kizzie and Bishop Ozan contributed 10 points each.
Texarkana will be back in action Thursday at home against Philander Smith of Little Rock.
