TEXARKANA — The Texarkana Arkansas Police Department (TAPD) says they have arrested an attempted second degree murder suspect from Louisiana and are awaiting extradition of the suspect.
Police say they arrested 23-year-old Christopher Williams of West Monroe, Louisiana, Thursday morning after receiving a call of a suspicious person in the 700 block of Hickory Street.
According to police, officers located and spoke with the person matching the description of the suspicious individual — Williams — and identified him as such.

Williams was taken into custody, police say, and transported to the Miller County Jail and is awaiting extradition back to Ouachita Parish.
