TEXARKANA — The Bowie County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help when it comes to locating suspects involved in a string of vehicle burglaries.
According to the sheriff’s office, there were a series of vehicle burglaries across Bowie County between the night hours of Dec. 16 and Dec. 17.
The sheriff’s office says every vehicle that was targeted was left unlocked and often had valuable items inside. There are at least two suspects and many of the homes had video surveillance footage that is being utilized to identify the persons responsible for these crimes, according to the sheriff’s office.
Anyone with footage of the suspects is asked to contact the Bowie County Sheriff’s Office at 903-798-3158, who will make arrangements to obtain that video.
The sheriff’s office also asks residents to make every effort to secure your valuables out of sight and lock vehicle doors as such small efforts would greatly reduce the chances of being targeted.
