TEXARKANA — The Texarkana Texas Municipal Court will be offering an amnesty program from March 1, 2022 to April 18, 2022.
Citizens with an outstanding warrant with Texarkana Texas Municipal Court are encouraged to come in before April 18 to pay the warrant in full without being arrested.
Warrants may be paid in full Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. at the Texas Pay Fine Window located on the first floor of the Bi-State Justice Building at 100 North State Line Avenue. When paying a warrant at the Texarkana, Texas Pay Fine Window, citizens will be not arrested, and the warrant will be recalled after the payment is made.
Warrants cannot be paid online.
The Texarkana Texas Police Department serves warrants for traffic violations along with other offenses. The amnesty program is a chance for residents to avoid being arrested by paying the warrants in full. Those will warrants still active after April 18 are still at risk of being arrested, taken to jail, and paying a higher fine.
Those with warrants can pay them in full with cash or money order — checks are not allowed. However, credit cards and debit cards are accepted with a small fee.
