TEXARKANA — The Liberty-Eylau Leopards punched their ticket to the postseason and secured the No. 2 seed as they dominated the North Lamar Panthers 10-0 Friday night.
W.T. Jones went 6.0 innings on the mound as he struck out four while giving up just three walks and a hit.
“Big win tonight to finish out the district schedule,” coach Zach Fowler said. “Great job on the mound by W.T. Jones. We did a good job of taking advantage of mistakes and came out with the win.”
Jones was 1-3 at the plate as he drove in four RBI and scored two runs.
Cal Jones scored two runes.
Gage Bellati was 1-3 at the plate and also drove in two RBI along with taking a walk.
