
AUSTIN, Texas – No. 10 Texas Baseball dropped the series to No. 8 Oklahoma State with a 14-3 loss on Saturday at UFCU Disch-Falk Field.
The Longhorns (31-15, 9-8) will look to salvage the series against the Cowboys on Sunday at 1 p.m.
Dylan Campbell went 2-for-3 with a single and a double, while Austin Todd was 1-for-4 with a three-run homer.
Tristan Stevens pitched 5 2/3 innings and allowed six runs on six hits and two walks. He struck out a career high eight but was credited with the loss.
Oklahoma State opened the scoring with a sacrifice fly in the top of the second, but Stevens did well to limit the damage to just one run.
The Cowboys added a solo homer in the top of the fourth and another solo shot in the fifth to go up 3-0.
Oklahoma State scored for a third consecutive inning in the sixth and put the game out of reach with seven runs to lead 10-0.

The Longhorns loaded the bases in the bottom of the sixth but were unable to cut into the lead.
OSU extended the lead to 11-0 with a solo homer in the seventh and scored three more in the eighth to go up 14-0.
Todd hit a three-run homer in the bottom of the eighth to get the Longhorns on the board.
Andre Duplantier II pitched a scoreless top of the ninth with a strikeout.
