Arkansas High Razorback’s sophomore Inside Linebacker Rodney Kindley is one of the team’s nearly 45 sophomores.
While the Razorback’s lineup may be young, players are still showing out. Head Coach and Athletic Director Trey Outlaw says that during the team practice on Thursday, Rodney Kindley proved himself to be a defensive star. Kindley’s been playing with his teammates since middle school and has played varsity since he’s been at the high school. The star sophomore sat down with Fox Sports Texarkana’s Bob DelGiorno to chat about the upcoming season. DelGiorno asks Kindley what the team will be able to accomplish in future seasons, considering their lineup isn’t going anywhere soon.
Kindley says the goal is to “go all the way.”
Kindley also had some kind words for the team’s new coach, saying “He gets onto us for playing around and I appreciate that.” Kindley has experience with most positions, and will also practice and possibly even play as a Runningback. When asked about his play style, the sophomore star brought up football legend Ray Lewis. While Kindley certainly has skill, he still has room to improve and says this season he wants to focus on his speed.
