TEXARKANA — The city of Texarkana, Texas’ Farmers Market will host a Best Salsa in the Ark-La-Tex Competition Aug. 6 at 500 North State Line Avenue.
The event will be the last market for the 2022 summer season. Attendees are asked to come early and enjoy local farm fresh produce provided by the best vendors in town.

The Texarkana Farmers Market will be open for all at 7:00 a.m. until sold out. The salsa competition starts at 9:00 a.m. until every contestant has been judged.
Customers are encouraged to sample each salsa and vote for their favorites. Some contestants may even let attendees purchase a jar to take home. Winners will be announced at 12:00 p.m. Entry into the contest and market is free, and pets are always welcome, according to the city of Texarkana, Texas.
