Round Rock lost another one-run game to Sugar Land last night…LHP Kolby Allard (4.0 IP, 6 H, 3 R-ER, BB, 6 SO) recorded 6+ SO for the sixth time in his last 7 starts at Triple-A…RF Josh Sale recorded his second 3-hit game of the season (3-4, 2B, 2 R)…DH Sam Huff (2-5, HR, 3 RBI, R) and 3B Andy Ibanez (2-5, HR, 2 RBI, R) each homered in the game…Round Rock will look to bounce back from back-to-back one run losses tonight.

Frisco extended its win streak to 6 games with a 6-5 win over Amarillo last night…3B Justin Foscue got things rolling for the RoughRiders, hitting a solo-HR in the second inning (1-4, HR)…RF Aaron Zavala continues to impress since being promoted from Hickory as he went 3-for-4 with a 2B, RBI, and a R…he is slashing .429/.538/.810/1.348 in his first 6 G with Frisco…1B Blaine Crim also recorded a 3-hit game (3-4, R)…RHP Jack Leiter took a no-decision after turning in a 5.0 inning start (5.0 IP, 4 H, 3 R-ER, 3 BB, 4 SO)…Frisco will look to extend their winning streak to 7 G tonight at 7:05 p.m.

The Crawdads fell to Asheville 9-7 on Friday night…CF Evan Carter led the offense for Hickory, smashing out three hits including a double and driving in two RBI…1B Cristian Inoa (2-4, RBI, R) extended his hitting streak to 11 G, extending his season high…he is hitting 19-43 (.442) with 4 HR and 19 RBI during the span…LF Alejandro Osuna (1-4, HR, RBI, 2 R) has recorded one hit in all three games of the series.
Hickory, the Texas Rangers’ High-A affiliate, will return to the diamond for game five of the series tonight at 6:00 p.m.
