8/16 Transactions: Kyle Cody reinstated from 60-Day IL (Round Rock). Spencer Patton released. Triston Polley transferred from Round Rock to Frisco. Tyler Thomas released. Seth Nordlin placed on Temporary Inactive List (Frisco). Trevor Hauver transferred from Hickory to Frisco. Jose Rodriguez placed on Development List (Down East). Tucker Mitchell returned from rehab and reinstated from 7-Day IL (Down East). JoJo Blackmon transferred from Arizona to Down East.
ROUND ROCK EXPRESS – W, 9-4 VS EL PASO
Triple-A, Pacific Coast League (60-52, 3rd, 4.0 GB)
Round Rock had three batters record three hit games as they cruised to a 9-4 win over El Paso. 3B Josh Jung (3-5, 2 HR, 6 RBI, 2 R) blasted two three-run homers to record a six-RBI game. Jung has now extended his hit streak to 10 G. LF Nick Solak (3-4, HR, RBI, 3 R, BB) and 2B Disobel Arias 3-3, HR, 2B, 2 RBI, 3 R, BB) each had their own three-hit games. RHP Tyler Duffey (1.0 IP, 2 H, 1 R-0 ER, BB) made his first appearance for the Express since signing his minor league deal with the Rangers this week. The Express will look to jump out to a 2-0 series lead tonight at 7:05 p.m.
FRISCO ROUGHRIDERS – W, 5-3 AT CORPUS CHRISTI
Double-A, Texas League (59-50, 1st, 1.0 GA)
Frisco used a solid start from RHP Tim Brennan (4.0 IP, 3 H, 2 BB, SO) to earn a 5-3 victory at Corpus Christi on Tuesday night. RF Jax Biggers has hit safely in 9 of the 10 G he has played in this month after a 3-for-5 performance with a 2B, 3B, 3 RBI, R. Biggers is slashing .400/.410/.657/1.067 with 7 XBH and 8 RBI during the month of August. 2B Justin Foscue (2-4, RBI) recorded his fourth multi-hit game during the month of August. SS Luisangel Acuna hit his second home run with the ‘Riders, his 10th overall (1-3, HR, RBI, BB, R). Frisco will take on Corpus tonight at 6:35 p.m. in game two of the series.
HICKORY CRAWDADS – W, 15-1 VS WINSTON-SALEM
High-A, South Atlantic League (57-52, 3rd, 10.0 GB)
Hickory exploded for 15 R in a 15-1 win over Winston-Salem. CF Evan Carter smashed his 11th home run of the season (2-3, HR, RBI, 2 BB, 3 R). 1B Cristian Inoa also had a multi-hit game for the Crawdads (2-3, 3B, RBI, 2 BB, 3 R). 3B Cody Freeman (2-4, HR, 5 RBI, R, BB) recorded his secondhighest RBI game this year. Starter RHP Nick Krauth improved to 4-7 on the season after a quality start (6.0 IP, 2 H, 0 R-ER, BB, 4 SO).
Hickory, the Texas Rangers’ High-A affiliate, will return to action tonight at 6:00 p.m. for game two of the series.

DOWN EAST WOOD DUCKS – L, 4-2 VS MYRTLE BEACH
Low-A, Carolina League (55-54, 4th, 5.5 GB)
Down East suffered a close loss to Myrtle Beach, 4-2, on Tuesday night. LHP Mitch Bratt (4.0 IP, 2 H, 2 R-ER, 7 SO) recorded his second consecutive 7 SO game and has now recorded 7 or more SO in 7 of his 15 starts this season. 3B Miguel Villarroel drove in both of the Wood Ducks’ runs last night after a 1-for-3 performance. SS Maximo Acosta led the team in H with a 2-for-4 performance. The Woodies will return for game two tonight at 6:00 p.m.
ACL RANGERS – L, 7-5 VS ACL PADRES
Arizona Complex League West (31-19, 1st, 4.0 GA)
8 of the 9 ACL Rangers recorded a hit in the team’s 7-5 loss. SS Danyer Cueva (2-4, 2B, RBI) and CF Robert Gonzalez (2-4, 2B, R) each led the team in hits with 2 apiece. LF Yeison Morrobel (1-3, 2B, RBI, R) extended his hitting streak to 10 G. Morrobel is hitting .463 (19-41) with 7 2B, 2 HR, and 5 RBI during that span. The ACL Rangers will have an off day tonight.
