Round Rock (AAA) cruised to an 8-2 victory over El Paso last night. RHP Tyson Miller allowed an ER on 4 H, with a
BB and 3 SO in 4.0 IP. DH Andy Ibanez (2-3, RBI, BB, R) and 3B Davis Wendzel (2-4, RBI) each recorded multi-hit
games. CF J.P Martinez went 1-for-2 with a 3B, 2 BB, and had a team-high 3 R scored in the game.
Frisco (AA) snapped their 3-game losing streak with a 7-4 win over Corpus Christi last night. LHP Avery Weems
made his fist start in his last 5 appearances (4.0 IP, H, 2 R-ER, 2 BB, 5 SO). 1B Blaine Crim led the offense as he
recorded his 4th three-hit game of the season (3-5, 2 RBI, 2 R). Crim is hitting 20-66 (.303) with 2 2B, 3 HR, and 8
RBI in 16 G this month. CF Josh Stowers had a multi-hit game himself as he finished the game 2-for-4 with a 2B, BB, and R scored.
Hickory (A+) jumped out early and never looked back in their 8-4 win over Winston-Salem Saturday night. LF Alejandro OSuna had the team’s only multi-RBI game (1-3, 2 RBI, R). 1B Cristian Inoa (2-3, 2B, RBI, BB, 2 R) and C Cody Freeman (2-4, RBI, BB, 2 R) each had multi-hit games for the Crawdads. reliever RHP Leury Tejada picked up his 6th win of the season (2.2 IP, H, R-ER, SO).

Down East (A) secured a narrow, 6-5 victory over Myrtle Beach yesterday afternoon for their fourth straight victory. LF Yosy Galan had a multi-RBI game (1-4, 2B, 2 RBI, R). C Ian Moller reached base 4 times after going 1-for-1 with a season-high 3 BB. Starter RHP Josh Gessner allowed 4 R-0 ER in his 3.1 IP with 5 SO. The Woodies will look to win their 5th straight game today at noon.
The ACL Rangers (Rk.) clinched the division title with a 4-1 won over the ACL Royals. Starter RHP D.J. McCarty (6.0 IP, 6 H, R-ER, BB, 8 SO) recorded season-highs in innings-pitched and strikeouts as he grabbed his 3rd win of the year. 2B Griffin Cheney (2-2, HR, 2B, 2 RBI, R) smashed his 2nd HR of the season for the Rangers. As it stands now, the Rangers will play two more league games before a one-game semifinal matchup against the Reds.
