MARSHALL, Texas — The Pleasant Grove Lady Hawks Volleyball team won their consolation match over Rusk two sets to none (25-13, 25-23) Saturday, finishing third overall in the Marshall Tournament.
Pleasant Grove was led by Reese Gibbs, who scored nine points, and Madison Carpenter, who had eight kills.
“Proud of the games from this week. We still need to grow on intensity today,” coach Amy Collvins said. “This mornings game we were focused and very little errors on our side. There is plenty to work on to get to the next level of play.”
