
TEXARKANA — The Texarkana Arkansas Police Department (TAPD) says they arrested an 18-year-old man in connection with a burglary in the 4300 block of Boyd Road early Sunday morning.
According to the TAPD, Eric Wherry of Texarkana, Arkansas, was found inside a residence and admitted he had broken into the residence. Police say they recovered “miscellaneous items belonging to the homeowners” within a backpack confiscated from Wherry.
TAPD arrested Wherry and charged him with Burglary of a Residence and Criminal Mischief in the First Degree.

Police transported and booked Wherry into the Miller County Jail where he is awaiting his first court appearance.
TAPD says that anyone in the area who has experienced a recent burglary, but has yet to report it, is encouraged to call them at 903-798-3130.
