WHITEHOUSE, Texas — The Pleasant Grove Lady Hawks earned one win out of three matches at the Whitehouse volleyball tournament Saturday.
The Lady Hawks beat Texas High 2-sets-to-0 (25-16, 25-18)
Whitehouse beat Pleasant Grove 2-sets-to-0 (25-27, 16-25)
Canton also beat the Lady Hawks (18-25, 24-26)
Adi Koller and Abigail Boehmke each had 8 serve points in the Canton game.
Madison Carpenter had 9 serve points against Whitehouse, and also had 12 serves points against Texas High.
Reese Gibbs was named to the all tournament team
The Lady Hawks are 16-9 and face Mount Pleasant on Sept. 6 at Hawk Gym on Fox Sports Texarkana 97.1 FM and 1400 AM at 6:00 p.m.
