NEW BOSTON, Texas — The Pleasant Grove Lady Hawks won all three of their volleyball matches against the New Boston Lady Lions Monday night.
The sets were as follows: 25-11, 25-22, 25-13.
Rylie Williams had 11 service points. Adi Koller produced nine service points. Abigail Boehmke had eight service points.
“We came out quick and kept the lead through the match,” coach Amy Collvins said. “We were able to work on a couple of things and was successful being aggressive on out of system balls.”
The junior varsity team won two of their three sets: 20-25, 25-21, and 25-14. Camyrn Estes had 10 service points.
The ninth grade team won both of their sets: 25-20 and 25-6. Lesci Hilton had 11 service points.
Pleasant Grove’s varsity team gets back in action on Sept. 20 versus Beckville. The Lady Hawks are 20-8.
