
TEXARKANA — The Pleasant Grove Lady Hawks opened district play with a win over the North Lamar Pantherettes.
The Lady Hawks won it in five sets: 20-25, 27-25, 25-20, 19-25, & 15-9.
Adi Koller and Madison Carpenter each had 13 kills.
Julianne Naples had 10 Kills.
Lauren Stewart had nine Kills.
Rylie Williams had 23 Digs.
Reece Gibbs had 25 Assists.
Mackenzie Williams had 23 Assists.
Pleasant Grove coach Amy Collvins was pleased with the progress her team made to earn the big win.

“This was a big win to begin district,” Collvins said. “North Lamar is one of the strongest teams in our district and the ladies never quit fighting. We are definitely glad to have this behind us with a win.”
The next games for the Lady Hawks is at Paris on Tuesday, Sept. 27 and at Pittsburg on Friday, Sept. 30.
