The Kilgore Bulldogs slipped by Plesant Grove 32-31 in a boys varsity basketball game at the White oak Tournament Saturday.
The Plesant Grove Hawks (1-4) were led by Drew Glover who poured in 12 points including 3-threes. Keighston King scored 7 points and Trevon Ellis poured in five. The “Mail Man” Ben Bricker scored 4 points before fouling out late in the game.
The Hawks had a chance to win
Pleasant Grove Hawks head coach Craig Collvins admitted that his team had chances at the end to put Kilgore away but they didn’t get it done.
“I do think we have made progression every game we’ve played,” PG Coach Craig Collvins said. “Hope that will help us when it gets to games that matter.”
The Pleasant Hawks boys varsity basketball team’s next game is Tuesday night in the PG middle school gym. The Hawks game versus Henderson will be broadcast live on 94.1 FM ESPN Texarkana with Bob DelGiorno providing the play-by-play.
