
The McLeod Longhorns boys and girls basketball teams swept the Harts Bluff Bulldogs at the American Airlines Center, home of the Dallas Mavericks.
The Lady horns defeated the Lady Bulldogs 32-14 in the first game of the double header. McLeod was led by Chassie Gryder who scored 10 points. Regan Johnson poured in 8 and Jaci Armstrong pitched in with six.
The McLeod boys overcame a second half double digit deficit and won in the final minutes 53-52 in one of the greatest high school basketball games ever played at the American Airlines Center.

The game had all the story lines you could ask for. The Longhorns are coached by Steven Lambeth, a high school coaching legend. Lambeth’s son Bradly Lambeth is the coach of Harts Bluff. Bradly graduated from McLeod and played for his dad.
McLeod was led by Jaxon Smith
The leading scorer for the McLeod boys was Jaxon Smith. Smith scored 22 points. Henry Teer scored 11 points and Kannon Dempsey pitched in with eight.
Harts Bluff was led by Ashyr Carrington who scored 20 points, including 6-3 pointers.
