The Pleasant Grove Lady Hawks came out hot From the start and finished with a lopsided victory defeating the hometown Lady Tigers in Daingerfield 59-22.
None hotter in this one than Madison Carpenter who put up a team leading 16 points. Other top scorers tonight for the Lady Hawks were:
Kenasia Henry with 8 points
Reese Gibbs and Autumn Crouch also had big nights for the Lady Hawks
Reese Gibbs & Autumn Crouch both with 7 points.
Pleasant Grove Lady Hawks head coach Davidson was proud.
“I’m proud of the girls after the game tonight,” Pleasant Grove Lady Hawks head coach Codi Davidson said. “It was a very physical game and the girls played hard.”

Coach Davidson said the Lady Hawks are ready for district.
“Now we get ready for district. We’re heading into district play with a winning record and we’re fired up for it to start,” Coach Davidson said.
The win moves the Lady Hawks record in pre-district to 12-7. They open district with Sulphur Springs on Friday at PG. The Lady Hawks vs Sulphur Springs game will be broadcast live on Fox Sports Texarkana 97.1 FM and 1400 AM.
