The Pleasant Grove Hawks boys varsity soccer team defeated Bullard 2-0 in day one of the Tatum tournament.
Hayes Lawrence scored 2 goals for PG
PG’s boys boys dominated the game from start to finish. Hayes Lawrence had his first complete game, but it could not have been without the spark from freshman Tommy Olosunde drawing a PK to put the Hawks on the board in the second half.
“We have been struggling with some injuries early on in the year; with us being low in numbers and the weather conditions yesterday. I am very proud of the guys performance,” Christa Henry, Pleasant Grove Hawks boys soccer coach said. “It was a great turn around from our last two matches in the Pine Tree tournament; we just want to continue to build as a team and improve game to game.”
