Monday night the DeKalb ISD School Board approved Melody Rich as the new Assistant Principal for the high school campus.
Mrs. Rich has worked in education for 16 years and with the DeKalb school district for the past 14 years.
Mrs. Rich has a Masters of Education
In August of 2022, Mrs. Rich graduated from Texas A&M with her Masters of Education in Educational Leadership.
Mrs. Rich has been married to her husband Daniel for 29 years. She has 4 children, Ashlee, Blaze, Cade and Darbee who are all graduates of DeKalb. She also has 3 grandchildren, Coy, Jase and Brooks.
Mrs. Rich states that she is proud to be a part of the DeKalb ISD community and looks forward to continuing to work with the students at DeKalb High School.
