
A Whightright, Tx., man was killed and 2 others were injured in a 3-vehicle wreck on State Highway 121 at County Road 4642 in Fannin, County, Texas early Thursday evening.
Texas State Police said 57-year-old Jonathan David Davenport was rear ended and killed on southbound 121 while attempting a left turn.
Police said Davenport’s vehicle was struck by a 2017 Ford transit driven by 38-year-old Abbas Zeerak.
Police said the the rear ended vehicle veered into the northbound lane
Police said the force of the wreck caused Johathan David Davenport’s vehicle to veer into the northbound lane and was struck by a 2016 Jeep Trail Hawk traveling north, driven by 47-year-old Jessica Erin Bradford from Garland, Tx.
State Police said that Davenport was pronounced dead at the scene.
Zeerak, the driver of the Ford Transit was transported to Baylor Medical Center in McKinney, TX, with serious injuries, authorities said.
Police said Erin Bradford was taken to Texoma Medical Center in Denison, TX, with stable injuries.
Police said the investigation is ongoing, and no additional information is available.
