SULPHUR SPRINGS, Texas — The Sulphur Springs Lady Tigers beat the Pleasant Grove Lady Hawks 3-1 in varsity soccer Friday night.
The Lady Hawks are 0-1 in district play.
Coach Andy Allen was impressed with the way the Lady Tigers were able to move quickly down the field.
“I thought they were the fastest team and the best team we have played this season and their number three was the best player we have seen all season,” Allen said. “We had trouble with them in the first half and then we made some adjustments. The girls played a lot better in the second half. We lost 3 to 1 and I hope those adjustments will pay off in the rematch at Pleasant Grove.”
