The Pleasant Grove Hawks varsity tennis team earned 4 medals at the Tim King Memorial tournament at Tyler Legacy High School in Tyler, Tx., Friday.
The tournament is the biggest high school tournament in East Texas with 31 teams competing. Hawks tennis stars did not disappoint their fans.
PG’s Jack Humphrey and Andy Tye finished 6th in boys A doubles. Hawks Whit Miller and Jackson Tomberlain finished second in boys B doubles.
The Lady Hawks team of Autumn Crouch and Lynleigh Henderson finished consolation finalists in girls A doubles.
In boys A singles John Tomberlain finished consolation finalist.
Lilly Pace finished consolation finalist in girls A singles.
Elaina Shellogg, and Rhett Gatlin finished Consolation winners in Mixed A doubles. The team of Hadley Davis and Zachary Bobo finished consolation finalist in mixed A doubles.
