Aledo shutout the Pleasant Grove Lady Hawks 8-0 Saturday on the final day of the Marshall tournament in Marshall , Tx.
Aledo is a real good team.
“We didn’t adjust to their pitcher who was throwing faster than what we have seen this weekend,” Becca Collom, Pleasant Grove Lady Hawks softball coach said. “We did put together some decent at bats but would have love to see us adjust quicker in game, especially being a time limit game.”
Lady Hawks shortstop had a great game defensively
Coach Collom said the Lady Hawks defense did have the opportunity to make some plays in the field. She said that Adi Koller had a ton a traffic and short and made it look easy.
“Outfield had the opportunities to read some balls and work on relays,” Coach Collom said. “Things that we can grow and draw from in the future.”
The Lady Hawks next game is Tuesday at White Oak at 5:30 p.m. The Game will be carried live on Fox Sports Texarkana 97.1 FM and 1400 AM.
