The Texarkana Independent School District plans to hold their first Annual Discover TISD Enrollment Fair in April.
On Monday, April 10th, the school district will hold an enrollment fair from 3:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. for parents and their potential students. Families with children from pre-K to high school are invited to come see if TISD is right for their family. The enrollment fair will hold a number of fun activities for those in attendance, as well as the necessary information and resources to get students enrolled in the district. An enrollment packet will be handed out to families in attendance. This packet can either be completed during the fair, or turned in at a later date. Campus tours will also be given for most of the district’s schools the following Thursday, April 13th.
TISD promises fair fun for parents and students.
In a press release from the Chief Communications Officer at the district, Todd Marshall, several incentives for families to visit the fair are listed. These include free food, bounce houses, goody bags, door prizes, games, and face paintings. For those wishing to learn more about the district’s programs, there will also be club demonstrations and departmental information booths. TISD asks for parents with any questions to contact their Student Services at (903) 794-8473.
