The Pleasant Grove Hawks softball team shutout the Liberty-Eylau Lady Leopards 23-0 in a 5-inning 10-run-rule game at LE Tuesday.
Pleasant Grove pitcher Sarah Hackleman pitched a no-hitter. Hackleman allowed only 1 walk.
Hawks senior slugger Presley “The Bambino” Humphrey hit her 6th home run of the season. Presley home run was a 3-run-shot in the third.
Lady Hawks head coach Becca Collom was pleased
“I thought we squared up a lot of balls and had the opportunity to work on defense and pitch in the wind,” Becca Collom. Pleasant Grove Lady Hawks head softball coach said. “We also got the opportunity to get everyone with tonight and that is always great to be able to do.”
