The Pleasant Grove Hawks varsity tennis team hosted 13 teams at the Spring Invitational Tournament Thursday.
Plesant Grove’s mixed doubles team of seniors Rose Anderson and Jack Humphrey finished first, the biggest success for the Hawks at the tournament.
PG tennis coach Eric Pickett said the competition was stiff
“We had a bunch of our strongest regional teams travel to compete with all of our district teams along with many surrounding schools,” Pleasant Grove Hawks tennis coach said. “We used almost every court in town to put this event on and ended up having beautiful weather. We also won a bunch of matches where we needed to which will help us gain the top seeds going into playoffs.”
