
Kameron Choate pitched a shutout and the Hooks Hornets baseball team shutout the Redwater Dragons Tuesday 12-0 at Redwater.
It was the 100th career win for Hornets head coach Tony Hight.
Hooks scored 7 runs in the fourth inning. Hooks was led by Matthew Hays, Choate, Jake Ledford, Ripken Birdwell, and Logan Baker who all had RBI’s in the fourth. Hays, Ledford, Birdwell, and Baker all had singles in the big inning and Choate doubled.
Hooks head coach Tony Hight said it was a great team performance
“It was an all around great team performance for us on Tuesday,” Hooks varsity baseball coach Tony Hight said. “Kameron Choate threw really well, only giving up 1 hit in 5 innings. We also had great team at bats throughout the night.”

Coach Hight said the Hornets still have things to improve on he said their focus now shifts to the Dekalb Bears.
The Hornets (14-4, 3-0) play at De Kalb Friday.
