The Pleasant Grove Lady Hawks soccer team shut out Athens 7-0 in the first round of the playoffs in a game played at Sulphur Springs.
Catherine Joyce and Rylie Williams each scored 2 goals and had an assist for PG. Emma Boehmke scored a goal and had an assist.
Lexi Allen and Abigail Boehmke each scored a goal. Supriva Sharma and Addison Gildon each had an assist.
Pleasant Grove Lady Hawks head coach Andy Allen loved his team’s energy
“It was great to see the girls come out with great energy and effort for our 1st round playoff game,” Andy Allen, Pleasant Grove Lady Hawks soccer team head coach said. “The ladies were able to possess the ball and create multiple scoring opportunities leading to seven goals. The defense also stepped up shutting out the hornets from Athens.”
Details on the Pleasant Grove Lady Hawks next playoff game are not available yet. However, it’s possible that the next opponent will be Jacksonville.
