Hawks coach Riley Fincher said it was a huge win
“That’s a huge win for us, there’s no doubt about it. they’re (LE) extremely well coached and play the game really hard,” Riley Fincher, Pleasant Grove’s head baseball coach said. “I can’t say enough about Jarret Halter on the mound. Every single inning was tough and he kept competing, kept challenging hitters; it was huge.”
Fincher said the Hawks hitters played well too
“At the plate it all started with our lead off hitter Brenton Clark. He got up there and saw the ball well and out hitters just continued to swing at good pitches for us; it was good for us to see”, Coach Fincher said.
