The Pleasant Grove Hawks tennis team had a huge day of the first day of their district event with Hawk players reaching the finals in every event.
“Day 1 was a gauntlet and getting the entire team through to day 2 was a big accomplishment for us,” Erik Pickett, Pleasant Grove head tennis coach said. ” We have PG players in the finals of every event and that is about as good of a day as we could have hoped for. Our hawks battled their guts out in every match! I am extremely proud of our efforts today, but our job is not done yet! One more day to go to finish the job in district play.”
